Frequently Asked Questions

No. Connect your payroll or time-tracking system and the roster is pulled in: employees already in AbsentEase are matched by their external id or suggested by phone number, and anyone new is staged for a one-click review. You can also import a spreadsheet or add people by hand.

Names, phone numbers, work emails, departments, managers and employment status, plus approved time-off requests where the provider offers them. Never pay rates, bank details, tax data or SSNs, and nothing is written back.

The sync flags them as no longer in the source system and you decide, in the roster review, whether to deactivate or keep them. History is never deleted automatically.

Yes. Each employee record is linked to one source of truth, so two connected systems never overwrite each other, and the review screen never lets one integration take over another's link.
