How You Opt In
Employees are enrolled in SMS communications by their employer when their phone number is added to the AbsentEase platform. Your first interaction with the Service confirms your consent to receive absence-related SMS messages. Employers are responsible for notifying employees that they have been enrolled and that SMS messages will be sent on the employer's behalf.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on absence reporting activity. You may receive messages only when reporting or responding to an absence, or when an administrator sends a communication. There is no recurring marketing or promotional messaging.
Opt Out & Help
You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message received from AbsentEase. After replying STOP, you will receive a confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent, except where legally required. To resume messages, reply START.
For help, reply HELP to any AbsentEase message, or contact us using the support information below. We will respond with instructions for using the service and how to reach support.
No Sharing of SMS Consent
The phone numbers and SMS consent information collected in connection with the Service are used solely to deliver absence-reporting messages. Mobile opt-in data and consent information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
Employees using the system to report absences should be made aware that message content is viewable by authorized company administrators.
